Middleton Lodge Wedding

It has taken me a ridiculously long time to blog this gorgeous Middleton Lodge wedding. For context, in the time that has elapsed since this amazing wedding day, the images have been featured on wedding blog ‘Brides up North’ and the happy couple have been joined by a beautiful baby boy. So yeah, this blog is overdue!! :-)

But good things come to those who wait….and this wedding was gooood!

  • Jemma and Dave were just a total joy to be around. Both with great taste and a great sense of humour, so kind of hard not to like! From our very initial meeting over coffee and cake at Harlow Carr, I knew the wedding was going to be awesome.

  • Middleton Lodge is an absolutely beautiful wedding venue. Full of character, plush interiors and natural light.

  • The weather on the day of the wedding was most definitely on our side, with sunshine and blue skies all day long

  • Even the bridal suite where I spent the morning with the girls smelt amazing!....of Jo Malone 'pomegranate noir' if you're interested.....which incidentally also arrived in a parcel on my doorstep a week later (weird!), making my own house smell equally gorgeous)

  • Jemma’s dads speech! He found a book that Jemma write about herself, at aged 14, and read snippets out to the wedding guests. Jemma’s expressions were priceless!

  • The beautiful cake, which featured both marbled and ruffled icing (courtesy of the extremely talented Sweet Charlotte Cakes)

Without further ado….I bring you Jemma and Dave’s Middleton Lodge wedding
