This shoot is perhaps my favourite wedding photography styled shoot, to date.

The brief for this bridal shoot; a laid back but effortlessly beautiful destination elopement, on a secluded stretch of coastline.

This absolutely STUNNING location in Lytham, on the west coast, was our ‘office’ for the day. When sunshine and blue skies fell over this incredible beach, we could not believe our luck.

The styling was kept simple, with ‘pops’ of pastel coral and green, against the white sand, distressed driftwood and an old reclaimed ‘treasure chest’. The muted tones of our chosen colour palette, ran through the bouquet, the floral necklace, the floral wicker hoop and the oversized balloons, resulting in a soft, romantic and feminine collection of images.

In keeping with the laid back vibe, the hair was kept tousled and loose, with the curls spritzed damp for the last few frames. The makeup was kept natural but with a flash of colour under the eye-line and a bold lip for just a handful of pictures.

Our bride wore a silk slip dress called ‘Bilene’ by Soon Bride and a floral gown called ‘Flora’ by Wendy Makin Couture. The bridal denim jacket was a hand embellished creation by ‘Beespoke’. The back jewellery, added to the slip dress, for a handful of images, is by Miranda Templeton. All bridalwear was kindly loaned to us by The Aisle boutique.

The results? Light, bright and feminine images, that convey the romanticism of a coastal elopement.

I cannot wait to see these in print, in the next issue of Unveiled Magazine.

A huge shout out to the incredible team, who I work with often and LOVE!
