Planning a wedding and love fashion? Read on....!
On a rainy day in late January, I headed over to Liverpool to shoot an editorial for issue 9 of Unveiled magazine.
Having 'crushed' on this magazine for some time, being subsequently invited to work on issue 9 and unashamedly 'insta-snooping' all the amazing suppliers i'd be collaborating with, this editorial shoot was a pretty exciting prospect!
And what an awesome day it was....
Shooting at Sefton Palm House was a dream! Beautiful botanicals providing a dense backdrop of various colours and textures, gorgeous vintage ironwork in the window panes and staircase....and drenched in natural light. If I could have designed my own shoot location, it would have been something like this!!
Styled shoots are also a great excuse to get creative and work with some awesome suppliers across the industry, who love what they do - and do it brilliantly!! The talent, professionalism and friendliness of everyone on the day, made these images come together so naturally. I also had scope to play with some of the photography toys I'd stashed away in my camera bag. The glass prism gave some of the wider shots some really interesting light effects, which tied in perfectly with the brief. I also used a handheld mirror in a few frames, to accentuate the botanicals around our beautiful model, Gabriella.
So without further ado, on to the images from 'The White Aisle'.
In the words of Unveiled; 'Escape to Unveiled's very own Balearic island, where the fashion is fairtrade, the florals are faboulous and its always cocktail o'clock'.
